GARY VON SCHILLING
WEB DEVELOPER
Gary is a computer programmer and multimedia specialist. He started programming in high school, learning basic commands and object oriented design. During college, he focused more on graphic design and art, but kept writing code as a hobby. He received a BA in Communication Arts: Design and Interactive Multimedia at Ramapo College. The program included graphic design, digital imaging, video and sound editing, and web technology. During an internship at a web development company, he found his calling was programming for the web.
Gary is the type of person who likes taking things apart, figuring out how they work, and think of better ways to design them. He has some non-technical hobbies like playing bass guitar, hiking, and swimming. He spends time reading about web technology, science, and history, never letting his education stop. He is fascinated by what people have accomplished and will accomplish in the future.
